Huh... So apparently DA worked so hard to bring this along with Sta.sh. It's... nice. I guess. Only one thing. In my opinion, journals are a minuscule way of making contact with your watchers on DA. and with Sta.sh, from what I can tell... is a way to replace the news system, which was wasting money (I don't see how that's a waste really).

See, people post news in news section while it was around before Sta.sh even made it's way into light, and stuff that we talk about our own life, something effecting the watchers of those deviants or unimportant memes go into journals.

And you know how bitchy people are when dA changes these things.~

Only one question though.... Wouldn't be an even bigger waste of money because they're wasting bandwidth on info that people favoriting journals? If they really want journals considered art, shouldn't they have that posted in the literary section of deviantArt?

Just thought that would have been easier and saves money on their part if THAT was such a big deal.

What would have been the news portion for me where I keep track of peoples' efforts in dA looks more like a Facebook log at the moment. It doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment on their part.

But hey, my opinion.
